Nashville International Airport

I created this for the Nashville International Airport. The works would be created out of plasma cut metal along with digitally cut acrylic shapes resting on top of archival photo prints which are mounted on wooden support panels. Each panel measures 48" X 48".  Life Elements is a reminder of our natural surroundings being a fundamental necessity to our very existence. The shapes reinforce this notion through simplicity being reminiscent of children's blocks however allude to a deeper and mysterious meaning referencing math and science. The adjacent figures classically posed create a narrative of man's ongoing quest for understanding through creativity and the sciences.

Proposals for Hilton Head Island Public Art Exhibition

HILTON HEAD ISLAND PUBLIC ART

Both of these proposals were created specifically for Hilton Head. They were inspired from memories I have from visiting several times. The sculptures are meant to be playful yet surprising...like digging into a box of cracker jacks.
